Jeeper’s Creepers has to be one of the most obnoxious horror films about lunacy and over-dramatic teenagers, I've seen since I Know What You Did Last Summer except this one has some acting in it. The plot line might stagger into films such as Texas Chainsaw Massacre with its Ed Gein type ritual murders and Duel. Duel is thought of when a rusty, decrepitude car chases the two stars of the film (who give worthy effort performances) off the road. After the fifteen minutes of car chases, the most obvious cliches start to transpire. In one of these cases, we see the male lead trapped in an underground pipe, under an abandon church while the female lead tries to start the car when she sees the suspected maniac driving towards her. The first half-hour can give any usual person an UN-weary feeling but all that is gone when the psychotic killer turns out to be a scaly, winged, flying creature. This film spirals rock hard to the ground and leaves you thinking it might have had potential. The ending is quite a corker. -
